April 21st 2013: Benbulbin. Tackled the slope head on, so very steep ascent and descent, good practice. Outstanding views, including the striking Benwiskin. Distance: 4k Duration: 2 hours Height gain: 275m Max height: 526m

Bush shaped by the wind, The Burren, County Clare, March 10th 2011
March 10th 2011: Black Head Loop. The track South between Cappanawalla and Gleninagh Mountain seemed quite unused now, so we picked up the lopped walk and followed that, thinking to revert to route later on. Noticed though that would have brought us across the stone flags, crossing dry-stone walls just to get to the tops, so we stayed with the looped walk so as to least disturb this unique terrain. Distance: 26K Duration: 6 hours Height gain: 200m Max height: 300m
