September 19th 2015: Started at Cronins Yard, walked in through Hags Glen, up via Heavenly Gates, down via Devil’s Ladder. Terriffic views, impressive landscape, great day. Gain for the route is 890 m but I took in at least 100 m more as, once at the top, I dropped down towards ascent from O’Shea’s Gulley to meet up with a group coming up that way, before returning to summit for descent via the ladder.
