Walking routes in Ireland

Route suggestions are provided for information purposes only, Explore More does not accept any liability for your use of these materials. Conditions on the ground may have changed since we walked the route, natural forces or human intervention may have made passage difficult or impossible and permission to access portions of the route may have been withdrawn. Weather conditions on the day as well as group composition and the health and fitness of walkers may also have an impact on safety.

The onus remains with individual walkers to know and operate within their limitations and to have map and compass and the ability to use them to plan and follow their precise route, as well as to alter the route if conditions on the day require that. Group / walk leaders are advised to ensure that adequate map reading and navigation skills exist in their group on the day. Walkers are reminded that appropriate clothing, nourishment and equipment are also required to ensure walker safety during activity in the out of doors.

If you require assistance, the Explore More team is equipped to help you plan, organise and enjoy your time in the outdoors. Our team have the required qualifications and experience to support you. We can provide personal walking and camping gear as well as the team gear that may be required to add to your safety, comfort and enjoyment.
