July 28th 2014. Led a group of walkers from UK with Tony Nation today. Hags Glen, Brother O’Sheas Gully, Beenkeeragh ridge, Carauntoohil, Cnoc Toinne, Zig-Zags, walk out. Brilliant sunshine and a great group of people. The team at Cronin’s Yard looked after us well with tea and scones on our return. Great day.

May 16th 2014. Walked from Kilclooney Wood to Boola. Across Coumshinagaun, Knockanaffrin (Conc an Aifrinn) , Knocksheegowna, Shauneenbreaga. Warm and sunny for the most part, some light cloud cover and haze in the afternoon, excellent visibility throughout. This was the first time I walked in Comeragh when the ground was not wet, I have seen another face of the Comeragh, great walk. Distance: 15K Duration: 7.5 hours Height gain: 1,010m Max height: 792m

September 5th & 6th 2013. Walked from Bangor to Newport. Across Slieve Corr, Nephin Beg, Glennamong, Curraunnobinnia, Ben Gorm. Warm mostly dry, a few showers, very light winds. Bivvied out on the NE slope of Glennamong, a good night for stars. Spectacular scenery and hard walking. Rucsac weight was about 13k, still felt it during ascent to Nephin Beg. Distance: 42K Duration: 17 hours (walking) Height gain: 2,620m Max height: 721m
