Hi all, seasons greetings.
For millions of years people have walked to the top of a hill near them to witness the sun going down on the shortest day of the year and to celebrate that swing from shortening days to lengthening days, and they look forward to Springtime.
We have organised a walk on Great Sgugarloaf on Saturday December 17th to mark the solstice, details here https://exploremore.ie/walking-in-ireland/winter-solstice/.
For safety reason nubers will be limited so drop us a line or give us a call to reserve a place,

Sunrise on Purple Mountain – October 2nd 2016
After our weekly walk on Carrauntoohil on Saturday we rose before dawn to witness sunrise on a Kerry mountain. For more photos click here https://www.facebook.com/exploremore.ie/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1043887682375480
Greet the rising sun at the Winter Solstice.
Celebrate the moment when the sun starts to return to us and the days start getting longer again.
Walk with us on Three Rock Mountain and catch the first rays of sunshine as dawn breaks over Dublin Bay and the Dublin/Wicklow Hills.
Check it out on Facebook or click here to book.
