Snowy day in Wicklow

Walking in Wicklow Mountains National Park – February 28th 2018

Took a snowy walk up Camaderry, over to Turlough Hill, down by the Glenealo River , through the Miners Village and back to Glendalough.

A super day, below zero throughout with soft lying snow. Some ice in places and a little spindrift from time to time. Full winter kit and supplies required, snow shoes a must.

Kilimanjaro – September 2018

We’reKlimanjaro going to Kilimanjaro in September. We do this with 8 days trekking, while others try to do it in 7. To increase your chances of summitting , we provide an additional acclimatisation day in town when we arrive and also one additional day on the trek. We also provide one day more than most in town after the trek to allow time to taken in the locality and to wind down before we fly home. Sound like your kind of gig? Click here for more details…

Regular walking in Dublin / Wicklow

This is a good time to get started with regular walking in the countryside and the uplands.
Following our successful walk in January, we were asked to organise regular easy walks suitable for families and those new to walking or wanting to get back to it..
So we have set aside some dates, roughly one a month through to September.  Dates here: https://exploremore.ie/walking-in-ireland/easy-hikes/    Like us on Facebook to stay in touch https://www.facebook.com/exploremore.ie/
